"The forest of souls" at the Louth film festival (Ireland)

It was in Dundalk at the beginning of October. Pierre Gaffié's film was part of the 2024 line-up of this tremendous festival. The selection of films look very strong and one of the "godfather" of the event is no other that Seamus Mc Garvey, one of Pierre's heroes : a director of photography brave and inventive.

'The forest of souls", in case you don't know tells the story of Mathilde, a young acoustician, who decides to overcome the loss of her mother by offering mankinf a new solution to honour our departed : putting their voices into trees...
